I didn’t come from a lineage that taught me to chase joy.
I come from a lineage of survivors.

Women who taught me how to be strong.
How to be self-sufficient.
How to endure.

And I honored that.

But at some point, survival stopped being enough.

So I chose myself.

I got divorced.
I walked away from a toxic career.
I left New York—my home, my roots, my people.

At 40 years old, I packed one suitcase, grabbed my dog Cody, and moved to Miami.

No plan.
No safety net.
Just the belief that peace was worth the risk.

And what I’ve learned since?

👉🏽 Reinvention isn’t about burning your life down.
👉🏽 It’s about waking up.
👉🏽 It’s about remembering that you get to choose yourself—again and again.

That restlessness you feel?
That quiet pull toward more?

That isn’t selfishness.

That is your soul.
That is your lineage.
That is your ancestors whispering, “Do it differently.”

They’re not disappointed in you.
