It Ends With Me: The Truth About Breaking Cycles No One Talks About
Years ago, I made a declaration.
I tattooed it on my arm.
It ends with me.
That declaration wasn’t made out of anger or rebellion.
It came from clarity.
I knew I wasn’t going to repeat the same toxic cycles and unhealthy patterns that had been passed down in my family.
Not because the generations before me failed—but because they didn’t have the privilege to heal the way we do now.
They didn’t have language for generational healing.
They didn’t have access to nervous system education.
They didn’t have permission to choose differently.
They did the best they could with what they had.
And they laid the foundation that made my healing possible.
So I decided I would be the one.
The Part No One Really Talks About
Breaking cycles is not glamorous.
It can be lonely.
It can feel uncomfortable.
It often disrupts unspoken rules that kept families functioning—but not thriving.
Sometimes, the very people you are breaking cycles for—your own family—look at you sideways when you start setting boundaries.
When you stop tolerating what was once normalized.
When you name what was swept under the rug.
When you refuse to carry what was never yours to begin with.
This is the paradox of being a cycle breaker:
You are honoring your lineage by changing it.
Cycle Breaking Is an Honor—and a Responsibility
Being the one who ends the cycle is a privilege.
But it is also deeply challenging work.
You are not just changing your own life.
You are reshaping what becomes possible for future generations.
And—whether consciously or not—you are offering peace to those who came before you and didn’t get the chance to choose differently.
That’s why I created this week’s YouTube video.

This video is for:
The ones who feel misunderstood in their families
The ones who feel the weight of “doing it differently”
The ones who know, deep down, that the old ways stop here

If this message resonates, know this:
You are not broken.
You are not dramatic.
And you are not alone.
You are a cycle breaker.
And this work matters.
