You won’t believe this!

A few months ago I was on a date. And something interesting happened.

The man sitting across from me started talking about his views on life, relationships, and how he moves through the world.

And almost immediately, I felt it. That little tightening in my body.

That quiet internal signal that said… this doesn’t feel right.

But when he asked what I thought?

I smiled and said: “Yeah… that’s fine with me.”

Except it wasn’t. I abandoned myself….again.

Now here’s the wild part. I’ve spent years studying patterns — especially the inherited patterns that quietly shape how we show up in relationships.

And even with all that awareness, the pattern still showed up.

But this is something I wish more people talked about.

Patterns don’t disappear overnight.

They show up in the moments where they were originally formed.

Moments where connection feels like it might be at risk.

If your nervous system learned early in life that love required you to be easy, agreeable, or self-sacrificing…Self-abandonment becomes automatic.

Not because you’re weak. Because at some point, it helped you survive.

The difference now? I saw it.

And there was no date two.

Today I released a new video breaking this down — including why strong, capable women often struggle with self-abandonment even after doing the healing work.

You’ll learn:

• Why attachment looks for familiar, not healthy
• How childhood environments shape adult relationship dynamics
• Why repeating patterns doesn’t mean you’re failing
• And how awareness is the first step to interrupting them

Watch the video 👇🏾

And if you’ve ever wondered which pattern might be shaping your relationships, I also share the Relationship Pattern Quiz in the video.

Hundreds of women have already taken it to identify the inherited survival strategy running the show in their lives.

Take the quiz HERE.

Because once you see the pattern…You can break it.
